Craving chocolate? Striving to keep your diet clean? Don’t want a sugar headache? This is my solution: almond date fudge. Some may argue it’s not “fudge,” so you can call it what you’d like. Clean tootsie rolls in a pan, chocolate “Lara Bars,” chocolate good stuff, whatever suits your fancy.

This smooth fudgey mixture is also used as a base for other clean treats, such as the almond joy bars and pumpkin mousse bars.


Tool Needed: Food Processor

  • 1 [heaping] cup of packed pitted dates
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Place ALL ingredients in the food processor with the chopping blade, turn food processor on until ingredients are fully mixed and create a smooth ball. Press smooth fudge mixture into an 8×8 glass pan or roll into small balls.

Optional addition: toast about 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut and press into fudge mixture before pressing it into the pan. Sprinkle sea salt on top, if you’d like.
